Throughout her career, Kay has developed a deep appreciation for meeting clients where they are, and empowering them to recognize their own resilience. Her diverse background in social work includes experience in medical social work, crisis intervention, and individual therapy. Kay has worked in both residential and outpatient settings, helping individuals process trauma, navigate mental health challenges, and build healthier relationships.

Kay’s therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and evidence-based practices. She incorporates techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients gain insight, regulate emotions, and create meaningful change in their lives. Her approach integrates mindfulness, self-compassion, and collaborative goal-setting.  Kay strives to provide a warm, accepting space where individuals can heal, grow, and move forward with confidence.

Kay finds adventure in everything she does. Whether she’s trail running on a crisp morning or foraging in a thrift store, she embraces the excitement of the journey. In her free time, Kay enjoys traveling, sewing, and exploring the outdoors.
